Doctoral student at TU Darmstadt awarded “Kultur-Kreativpiloten” prize
Facades do not have to remain straight, level and conventional. In future, boldly curved, geometrically sophisticated glass facades for houses, offices or residential towers are conceivable with the help of the 3D printer. The printed metal façade nodes developed by TU doctoral student Alamir Mohsen could revolutionise architecture. For the patented invention the facade technician received the “Kultur-Kreativpiloten” prize of the Federal Government on Tuesday (12.11.) in Berlin.
