Professor Rödel elected Fellow of the Materials Research Society

The Materials Research Society is the largest materials science society in the world, based in the USA. Rödel's research interests include non-metallic inorganic materials, electrical fatigue in ferroelectric materials, lead-free piezoceramics, high-temperature piezoceramics and mechanical properties of ceramic materials. Within the LOEWE focus FLAME, Rödel deals with the application possibilities of antiferroelectric materials in power engineering. The aim of the Materials Research Society is to make outstanding scientists better known and to make the field of materials research more visible. sip
